What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact form

When visitors leave messages on the site we collect the data shown in the Contact form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. We keep Contact form submissions for a year for customer service purposes, but we do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes and do not disclose the information to a third party.

If you upload images to the website via Contact form, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included.

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. We use cookies to help the site identify and track visitors, their usage of the site, and their website access preferences. The visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using the website, with the drawback that certain features of the website may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

If you leave a message on our site you may opt-in to saving your name and email address in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another message. These cookies will last for two weeks.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

We use Google Analytics to gain insights and improve the functionality of our website. You can find more information at Google Analytics Terms of Service.
